To achieve global climate goals, buildings\u2019 whole life carbon emissions \u2013 both operational and embodied \u2013 must be addressed, as embodied emissions could make up half the carbon footprint of new buildings by 2050. The OECD report highlights best practices and strategies from 18 countries and cities, offering policymakers actionable insights to drive the transition to zero-carbon buildings. This whole life-cycle approach closes a critical gap in climate policy and promotes resource efficiency, material circularity, and innovation in construction.<\/p>\n

La Charte pour une construction circulaire a publi\u00e9 un guide pratique. Ce document fournit une base solide pour, par exemple, r\u00e9duire l\u2019utilisation de ressources premi\u00e8res non renouvelables, diminuer les \u00e9missions grises de gaz \u00e0 effet de serre et am\u00e9liorer la circularit\u00e9 des projets de construction.
